GET Method and POST Method
  • When working in ASP Environment, HTML forms variable are used to Pass data from client browser to the web server.

  • If the form variable  are passed to the web server using the GET Method, then the variable are read from the QueryString Collection.

  • In this case, you should retrieve the value from the QueryString  Method.
    Example of GET Methodvariable =Request.QueryString["txtname"]

  • If the variable are passed to the server using POST Method, then the value will be in the Request Object forms collection.

  • In this case, you should retrive the value from the Forms collection.
